Pep Boys sells a spiral wire containing tube that wraps around from side.
I bought one was going to cut it in half & encase the wires on each side
but returned it as I figured the shop would install the correct part & I;d pay them.
Anyway I might just go back & buy it again

its under $5 heat resistant & keeps part of the wires clean.

Do ignition wires get hot?

I noticed mine were not on the wire & boot near distributor cap/
Is this normal?
It seemed to be wire heat as the right side wires 1234 were hotter than the left side 5678 ...is that odd?
