MB discontinued the longer shank lug bolts for the 210 wheels because they would twist and break off if an air impact wrench was used to loosen them. But the new bolts are too short and don't quite look right since they aren't flush with the surface of the wheel. I sorted this by not using an impact wrench and advising any service tech likewise. No impact wrench and no problem. If you simply use a proper breaker, long handled ratchet, or the like, they come loose, no problem and no breakage.
I even acquired another set of the longer bolts along the way and have extra in case I break another. But I haven't for many years now that I am aware of the problem using air impact to loosen those bolts.
