W108 - Weep Hole Cleaning/Unblocking

Is there a way to clean the weep holes located on the rocker panels?

I took of the front wheel well liner and brushed/vacuumed out the debris that accumulated there. The two slit type drain holes are clear. I wound 5-6 pipe cleaners into a rope and inserted up the weep hole that is located just aft of the front wheel arch. The pipe cleaner came would/did not go as far up as I thought.

Should I try something a bit more stiffer. I also tried compressed air but not sure if that had any effect. I just want to make sure the weep hole is clear. Plan to do the same for the passenger side as well.

I Use a good pressure washer anywhere I can't reach in

You can also after its completely dry when you can get to it spray paint the area to try to avoid Rust Build up > Rustoleum

I plan to spray that area with some rust inhibitor and paint, probably something like POR.

I will say one thing it really is a bad design, but it is what it is.

Correct bad design / You need Not to use " thick Paint " because it will plug up the weep Hole
You can improve the "Design" By simply enlarging the Weep Hole just drill from the Bottom.
A Good design would have been that area could have been Galvanized
A better way yet is like the 928 Porsche the body is Aluminum however the Transmission is Mercedes but once your driving all confusion dissipates and right away you begin to realize a Porsche is more then just a name . of course most can't afford a 928 . Don't drive one unless your willing for a let down once you stop.
( the 911 are rust buckets but not the 928 Nope ) 928 ? They just keep climbing in price a dream touring Car that rides like on rails
On the Other Hand most rusted out Door Bottom edge area's are 40 50 years old and that's not bad really
