Hello,

i posted a week ago about a problem i was having with my transmission shifting. i located the problem in the repair manual and it turns out someone had the vac. lines on top of the valve cover criss crossed. anyway i have fixed the problem and now it shifts much better but sometimes it has trouble finding the right gear. the downshifts seem jerky when they do occur, the 1-2 is a neck breaker, and some times it will just not find 4th if i don't let off the throttle a little. any thoughts?...

also what is the normal oil consumption of these vehicles?
