So i the insurance people finally came over today. they checked out my damage and cut a check for 2K. now what had happened was my car was sittin in my friends driveway, and she backed out into it. causeing the driverside passenger door on my 240D to kind of cave in. The door still functions, IE power lock and the window. the trim on the top is twisted. the paint cracked just a little.
I opend the door up today and i cannot find any dents on the inside of the door ![]() any who my delema is that should i pay to have it fixed, which each shop i took it to quoted around 2K ne ways. or sould i just drive it like it is, and maybe pick up anther W123. maybe 300 turbo or 300SD or 300CD?? or should i invest the money an have the door fixed? the paint and everything still looks good, it just kinda dented in, since i cant find the dents on the inside, i assume its not that bad.. any comments???
