I just used a 10K NTC, soldered some very thin wires on it and pulled the whole thing through a nylon tube I bought at home depot.

The tube also acts as a dipstick on a 722.6

To make the regular dipstick easier to read ...if you have a really good and small drill ....
you might drill holes at the main places you want to check... some dipsticks have this... easy ' go no go' as to whether it covered the hole when dipped as compared to streaking on the side.
