Don't feel bad, heated seats or any other options are rare on all diesels (I've only heard of one with full 560SEL options)

Ya. Well hopefully I'll find a wrecked 560 someday and "correct" my car's lack of toys.

Sadly due to a hard drive crash this is the only picture I have. I'm still looking for a volvo or saab in the boneyard I can pull the wiper arms off for the headlights.

Volvo or Saab headlight wipers work on these cars? Which models work? Mine are working now, but I will pull a set of spares if I see them.

One here. Pearl black, not quite sure which interior color... some bits are a lighter tan than others based on where the sun has shone. 334,000 miles on the body, somewhere around 200-210k on the engine... nobody really knows.

'86 SDL, '81 SD, '87 SDL (for sale)

My favorite, an '86:
302K miles on the clock (207K of 'em are mine),
New cylinder head some years ago, just replaced the
head gasket (perforated in front of # 1 cyl).

BUT I am not getting the turbo boost I should,
less than 5psi. WHAT is going on?

Otherwise, good mileage, 22-24 mpg, typically
over 450 miles per tank.

I also have an '81 SD (the "beater benz") and a
top-down rusted out California beach '87 SDL,
runs strong, but I gotta sell. Anybody want a
good used engine and tranny? I give you the
chassis to carry 'em around in til you need 'em!
(you want ugly? see pix)

Cheers,
Richard
