So far the only mods I've done have been ecodes and installing the factory CD changer, mud flaps, and "chrome" wheel arches. For whatever reason I kind of want to keep my SDL stock. I'm mod happy on my VWs so I guess it balances out.

Though, if I came across the parts to install SLS or the hydropenumaic suspension at the right price....... And I wouldn't mind the fanfare horns or rear roller blind either....

Into the '83 SD:

Rear head rests
stock palamino foot rests
third brake light
cd player w/ mp3
8 hole 15'' rims
euro headlights
blackened grill insert
4 speed manual transmission

Soon to have a 2.88 differential swapped in

Does all this qualify?

A special award goes out to the 8-ball shifter, and Jimmy's cup holders are voted most likely to be replicated. Hubcaps on all w123 look great, and if you can get the non steel rims to go with them all the more power to you. More applicants are encouraged to submit modifications, and thank you to all that have successfully applied!

Please recall the first post, folks---

Flames.

Oh, yeah. Don't forget the flame job on the '79. It does have a blacked-out grill AND headlamp doors, to boot. I'll get a pic....

Jay.

Mine is a 1992 500E. Mods I have done since ownership:

• Debagged
• ECU and A/F have been re-mapped for more power and richer output (using proprietary software)
• ITG foam air filters
• HID Xenon headlight conversion
• Hella Euro Headlights – wipers deleted and solid panels integrated
• Hella front clear turn signals
• Hella smoked tail lights
• ICE – Alpine 9884 receiver and two Alpine amplifiers, new MB Quart speakers all around and a Solo-Baric L5 sub from Kicker: between the sub and speakers = 1000 watts
• Brembo cross-drilled (cast holes) rotors (F & R)
• Stock calipers resurfaced and painted in Pear Black color
• Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines all around
• Porterfield R4S brake pads
• Cat-back exhaust by RB Tech – all stainless steel dual exhaust, mandrel bent 3” pipes, X-pipe and two mufflers are designed by RB Tech as well.
• HRE 3-piece forged wheels, model 546 – F: 17 x 8.5 (offset et27), R: 17x10 (offset et34)
• Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires – F: 245/45/17, R: 275/40/17
• Brabus aluminum pedals
• 160A Bosch alternator
• Cool Harness auxiliary fans trigger at 92C
• Avantgarde grill insert
• First gear start transmission valve body installed from a 1995 E420
