Racekar - I actually got my idea from your write-up. Thanks! I had to open up the flapper a different way because my Excessive Compulsive Disorder would have driven me nuts just knowing I had that wire wrapped around like that to keep the airway open
![]() I agree that yours is possibly the fastest way to reverse the EGR delete for those that live in states that monitor emissions on diesel cars.

That is a nice looking grille insert.
Once I get all these new parts in mine hopefully it will run good enough that I'll be motivated to make it look a little nicer! Thanks for the above posts detailing the EGR delete.... I'm wondering if that is one of my problems as well.
