That is a nice looking grille insert.
Once I get all these new parts in mine hopefully it will run good enough that I'll be motivated to make it look a little nicer!

There are ones being sold on ebay, but a lot of them are replica taiwanese brands ( I am not sure if these will fit right or what the quality is like but I think they should be ok)....I looked pretty hard for the schatz avantgarde grille which is made from a real S600 grille that is cut down and glued for a w124. These are getting harder and harder to find.

On the other hand I have seen the stock grille inserts for 30-40 bucks on ebay as well. I just think the S600 grille looks so much more aggressive!

I have a 95 and it pulls all the way to 5000 rpm. I found a much easier and quicker way to disable the egr in our cars. I wrote it up a while ago, just search the posts for my name. The advantage of my system is you can reverse it in 2 minutes. Some states much stricter emissions inspections and a non reversible method could get you into trouble.

Racekar - I actually got my idea from your write-up. Thanks! I had to open up the flapper a different way because my Excessive Compulsive Disorder would have driven me nuts just knowing I had that wire wrapped around like that to keep the airway open
I agree that yours is possibly the fastest way to reverse the EGR delete for those that live in states that monitor emissions on diesel cars.
