This was the concept I had in mind when I posted that ' clocking ' warning...
that someone had indicated that should be checked in some cases...

This is an old thread, it was my first attempt at taking apart an R4 but never finished the project. Back then, I was unable to find info by googling and made quite a few mistakes, including breaking a part. Search for my threads from 2016 on resealing an R4, it has more up to date info where I also developed an innovative system flush and getting cold AC.
