I believe the membership falls into, roughly two different those who would smile, like pmalley when sitting there and those, like myself, who would say WTF am I doing here!!!

I'm sure glad there are quite a few from the first camp to assist those of us in the second category.

Keep up the good work.

I have recently had some major transmission issues and am wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with transmission repair shops in the Phoenix, AZ area and would recommend their services. My 2003 Monte Carlo is shifting unusually roughly, will not go into fourth gear, and I am wary of taking it to just any shop without recommendation.
I have purchased several transmissions from jaspers and I have never had a problem just get this cheapest thing you can get.

Warning from the FSM...
When taking out precombustion chambers from 617,616 engines...

YOU MUST REMOVE THE GLOWPLUGS FIRST.

or you shear off the end and make a huge mess.

Put your engine on an engine stand so you are not killing your knees and back during this job.

Wow - ever fancied making the move (with your workshop) to Europe? I could do with a friendly offer like that right round the corner from me!

Do a search for posts by konstan , he did a rebuild about 6 months ago. It will have plenty of details for you.

Good Luck !!!!
