190d questions

I have a chance (maybe) to buy a 1986 190d with the 5 speed transmission. It has like 130k miles on it and is seemingly well maintained.

It is not without issues, as he dash is cracked, the drivers seat a bit worn, and it will need front end work. I know the manual diesels are rare, but what is a fair price for it?
Similarly, how much should I worry about the prospect of front end work?
