Do you still have rebuilt axles for sale? How about a set of prechambers for a 617-95X? Do you know how difficult they are to pull? Is there a special tool to pull them and do you know if I can rent the tool here? Is so then perhaps I may go to a yard here and pull a set. If I buy a set (2) of rebuilt/rebooted axles from you do I later sent you cores?

of course not!!! the 78 240 RUST BUCKET is no more.
all drive train parts are saved, as are the suspension! so... let me know what you need from that pile!

I need a rear seat for a 84 300SD. I have leather but would like MB Tex It would need to be in light grey (hate to be picky) I would like to have the front seats in MB Tex in light grey if that is not too much to ask. Sorry about your problem, I had a Realtor call the inspector on me years ago and they wiped me out. Robert

I feel for you man. I too have had a visit from the Code inspector. I had to find a place for at least 4 cars (mostly parts cars), and get a few others registered. I found out later that even if they are registered and/or non-op, they were still "inoperable", so they had to go also. I was also accused of "operating a business from a residence", and I was told to cease immediately. I guess I can't have my friends bring their Diesel 'Benz's over anymore for repair or to buy parts. I was fortunate enough to have a friend "foster" a couple parts cars for me. He told me I could store as many as I needed at his place (3+acres) for as long as I needed. I wish I could help you out, but I am all the way on the other side of the world from you (California).

today we got a TON of parts organized in my loft, and decided that the big stuff should be stored below. no point in hauling doors and hoods up into the loft, just to bring them down to sell them. soooo we started emptying the lower office section, and made about 3/4 of the area empty and will finish emptying the rest in the morning. I can't wait to get it all organized, and take a pic for the forum! stacks of 123 and 124 seats piled into the loft, and suspension and doors organized in the office!

Another Visit
John - my business travels will take me thru your area again tomorrow late afternoon. I am still interested in a CCU for my 81 SD. Also need a windshield washer pump for the same car.
