What years for mechanical IP & turbo 617

I'd like another 300D, SD or TD with a turbo and 617. I think 81-85 is the range for the SD but want to confirm. What about the D and TD?

Never mind. I found it.

300D (123) Turbo 617 82-85 also had non-turbo 617 in 81
300TD 81-85
300SD 81-85

Taken from Maintenance manual. What was turbo situation prior to 81?

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.

1979-1980 300SD (116) had the 617 Turbo. 1979 also had no EGR, and the manifolds are sought after.

Actually the 78 300SD also didn`t have the EGR. so there is 2 years that have the clean manifolds.

Every SD is a turbodiesel. In fact they were the first turbodiesel car.

Yes, I stand corrected. I was sure about the '79, but not about the '78.
