Someone is 1. wayyyyyyyyyyyyy out of touch with reality and 2. going to be trying to sell that truck for a very long time.

Edit: Folks, when you post an ad, PLEASE copy and paste the text of the ad into your post, and save the pics and upload them to the forum. Not just copy and paste the photos into your post(which usually just hyperlinks them to the original source), actually upload them to the forum. In a decade or a year or a month or probably even just a week, most of these ads will be gone, the link will go nowhere, your post will be meaningless. If you C&P the text + upload the photos, everything stays put as long as the forum is up and future visitors can enjoy your post as well.
wait... this guy is asking for drugs for his engineless truck...

Around here, seeing ads on CL from people willing to trade weed for items is pretty common, that one didn't raise my eyebrows. It was that he wants $4500 worth of weed for that POS that caught my attention. Haven't scrapped metal for $$$ in years, but there's a bit of weight there(less with engine gone), minus fuel and time expenses, he's probably right around 100x what the truck is actually worth.

That and the PHD in English language level spelling and grammar. CL isn't exactly a scholarly hangout, but that was pretty bad.

There are stereotypes, and then there's THAT. Makes me wonder if it was faked.

However, it is a crew cab and these are hard to find as most were bought as construction trucks then hammered. Only a few were used as camper tow duty and cared for. Being 4WD adds to rarity. Probably not worth 4,500 even if the rust is just surface.

What does $850.00 translate to in USD? I wasn't aware the Canadian dollar had devalued to 100-1. $8.50 USD sounds about right for that fine specimen.

Gotta love those "self reclining" seats. Are those from a W124?

I’ve seen better looking cars in the junk yard that have been half picked apart...

This is one of those cars where a physical inspection is a must, no way to tell by a few pics. With a quick look all I really see is bad paint, rusted drivers fender, front bumper tilted on drivers side.

If an otherwise good car suffered LF damage in the past then was repaired with not so good parts, that would explain the rust / poor bumper fit.

In Canada and well salted! I'm amazed it's survived this long.
I always see nicer cars in the junk-yard. Often nicer than many late model cars I see on the road!

OTOH, in 1988, I paid $450 for one of these in much worse shape, just to get the drivetrain and other useable parts for a '72 220 I was selling , and a '72 250 I was keeping.

Or is it the floor that's 'self reclining'?
I see a driver's rocker-panel that's essentially dissolved - hinting at how much might not be left underneath. There may still be a lot of good parts though.

Lets put it this way, even with the road salt here, I regularly see much much nicer cars being parted out, or in junk yards..... that car is scrap......
