Unusual Vac pump, 61x series.
Ive been reading through that huge thread on 'vac-pumps, are you neglecting yours'....
All/most illustrated have a roller that runs on the timer cam. Mine Hasnt! I have one thats driven by a short internally splined tube from the timer to its central rotary cam-shaft that operates the vac plungers/parts sidewise on--There's one each side. The Timer central bolt has an oil delivery hole to supply this 'odd' pump with oil So--No Roller or lever-arm, just a rotary drive taken from the timer/shaft. Ive never seen this type or heard about them here. I would have taken pics of it, but its now fitted to the engine. Anyone else got one of these or know anything about them?
