Odd thing is BaT did accept it after all, after I'd already committed to C&B. BaT seems to be a bit of a "members only club" for sellers these days, if you haven't sold there before, you're not like to at this point. I know one of their sellers has sold over 800 cars on the site, which at that point it seems like it's a site dedicated to a few high volume sellers. I'm not sure that will be sustainable for them if/when the economy does take a turn.

The SL with a Turbo Diesel would be VERY cool!!! I remember the one from a few years ago, owned by a very active member here, was his name Paul????

I don't know, what happens, but for me part of it, is making excuses for NOT driving it, like does that place I'm going to have adequate parking, is it reasonably secure? Etc. It's almost like you know what went into the restoration, the blood, sweat and tears...literally, and you're paranoid something will happen to it.

Also, did you check out that AC performance video? I can't believe how cold it blows!!!

It is odd that many of us build these cars thinking we will keep them forever, but end up selling them anyway. My first wagon was that way. After owning my wagon for 5 years before restoring it, it was sold on BaT because I got a car that became more of a "keeper" (1985 300SLD- R107 Diesel conversion). Although I miss my wagon, the SL is so much more fun!.

There is only one, and yes I got it from Paul (AKA Mach4). And yes, I am impressed with the A/C performance. I just did my 240 (Sanden, PF etc), but with R12. Once the cabin is cool, I have to run the fan on medium, and roll the temp dial so the compressor cycles or I will freeze.
