No gears from bad valve body

A while back I started a thread because I had no functioning gears
with my 722.303 auto transmission. My tranny was temporarily fixed
when I changed a kinked cooler line. A week or two after I thought it was
fixed I lost all my gears again. No Forward or Reverse.

I was ready to throw in the towel and put in a different tranny when I read one last thread
where someone with the same symptoms fixed it by changing out the valve body.

Went to the JY pulled a VB and bingo! it fixed my tranny.
I have now been driving it for a couple of months and all seems well.
I opened up the old valve body a little and found this broken plastic inside the K2 port.
Haven't taken the whole thing apart yet.

So, if you have no gears, try replacing the valve body before you buy a new tranny--$50 vs $2K
Started this new thread for people in the future searching this problem.

Jaggi Import who rebuilds valve bodies for $225 Services

I did not rebuild my valve body or use Jaggi Import, just including the links for others.
Hope this can help someone down the road.
