anybody know about some shorter springs for this one? It sits too high for my taste.

MB used to offer sportline suspension for the wagons, may not anymore check with a dealer. Dave's (GSXR) site base part numbers

H&R has sets for the wagon https://www.achtuning.com/h-r-29627-sport-springs-mercedes-benz-w124-300te-wagon-rwd/

Most often though, the height is adjustable based on the upper spring pad. The number of nubs dictates the lift. Should be about 5 options.

I run these 30mm drop Eibachs on my 87 300TD with 3 nub spring pads front and 2 nub rear. Not slammed. Good balance between looks and retaining the utility of a higher vehicle.

In my opinion, better than the H&Rs which are 50 mm drop, and have a propensity to sag over time.

that looks pretty good! Front looks good and I might leave the rear higher.

Maybe 722.6 with a standalone controller?
Chevy adapter plates are fairly common now just not up to speed on anything newer than 700r4 which we bolted a 603 to in a 87 square body.

I am not sure, but the starter may be on the wrong side. I do know that my '04 211 (722.6) has the starter on the right side. The 210 may have it on the left (not sure). If so, that would be the one to use. You would need the shifter (or adapt the shifter electronics), and yes a standalone controller is available.

There is also the 722.5 5 speed from the 90's MBs.
The 722.6 has starter mounting provisions on both sides.

Now the electric fan is not operating. Is it possible to test it without removing from the block?
