Daimler300CD- Nice color! I've never seen a diesel in Pearl Black. Did it come that way, or did you have it painted?

The car came this color. I purchased it in Oct. '02, so no time for a repaint. It's a really great color except that the paint is oxidizing/fading on the hood and roof down the center. The color is what sold it seeing how I've never seen any of these around. I just got the windows tinted too. I'll get a photo taken tomorrow and post it on the site. I know the color is original too, because I have the original window sticker stating it's pearl black. Thanks for your liking of the car. -Jamie

I'm about to rebuild the motor and replace the seats and carpeting on the SDL. It's got ~316,000 miles on it and I hope to use it to replace the 190D as my daily driver for te next 15-20 years. Wish me luck.
