I thought I responded to this thread but after reading the whole thing, I saw I didn't. Glad to see there are so many of us still chugging along out there. Taken 5 minutes ago, big storm on the way.

Here's mine:

Just bought this one owner, garaged, '82 240D(auto) with only 83K miles. In like new condition, what do you think?

Thanks Bill, I pick it up Monday since I'll be out of town(in Little Rock, AR) this weekend. This car has no sunroof, has roll up windows and is just immaculate. The brake master cylinder has almost perfectly clear fluid visible through the reservoir which indicates it has been changed frequently. I'm really excited. I've also got a really low mile 300SE(W140) that is almost as nice, but the 240D really does it for me. Can you explain about the chrome under the tail lights? Was that an option?

Hey Holson Adi, don't be lonely around here; I love these cars (yours too) and am just up the road in Worcester. I take mine to Hatch and Sons (and PAY) just to hang out in their parking lot.

98 E300 TD

After numerous unsuccessful personal attempts, Rick Miley graciously prepared my picture for posting.

I bought this, my first MB in August, 2002. It had 39K on the clock and now has 44K. I made 688 mi. round trip on one tank of fuel over Thanksgiving (the warning light had not even come on yet). The only problem the previous owner had with the car was a bad glow plug relay. I am looking forward to a 2K mi. round trip to NC/VA beginning this afternoon.

Happy Holidays to all!

Hi, another member from MA

Well you have to make sure that image is not any bigger than the max allowable size.
You could send the picture(s) to me and I would be glad to resize it(them), etc and post it(them) for you!

Hi agplate,

Here's your car!

"83 300SD

It has 303k miles. I purchased it from the original owner- it came with a stack of receipts, window sticker and other goods.

I’m obsessed with it, and wish it would stop snowing all the time!"

Now that is what I call a non-ordinary color! If I see it on the road I'll be sure to try and 'say Hi'

What is the interior?

Have fun with the car! 303k mi.... makes my car look like a low miler.
