I don't have any guts inside my ALDA (Always on full). So I'm not sure if it will be jumpy without anything for the boost to influence inside the injection pump.

Since I have no choice but to remake my control mount, I'll see if I can use the pod from a VNT chrysler daytona. It's got boost and vacuum ports so I could be able to open up the vanes when I need to.

The VNT turbo will be ready to install on December 24th 2006. Pictures and video will follow shortly afterwards.

For now, a preview.

Very interestins stuff. Please keep up updated. Im not familiar with the new turbo (yet). But if the control could be spring?vacuum modulated, could you use the signal of the transmission control. It seems to me the high vacuum at idle, decreasing with throttle position could be used.

The actuator I have on it right now is a normal wastegate setup that works off boost pressure. The vacuum system works opposite of how the turbo works as stock.

On the 300D, you have high vacuum at idle that decreases as you apply throttle. The turbo uses vacuum to close the vanes so it would need it's own vacuum system to control.

Thanks to the blizzard shutting down DIA, I won't receive my paycheck until Tuesday. So I'm moving back the install date to the 31st.
