These 2 adapters, together with new bearing for gearbox axle, will allowed to mount a 5 speed gearbox from MB modell 124, in the older MB with 4 speed gearbox. On the pictures is a 5 speed gearbox mounted on an engine from MB 220SE from 1962, but it is possible to do that converting on nearly all other earlier models before 124 models, even the diesels: MB180,190,200,220,230,250,280 and 300.
You have to do some cutting in the transmission housing to accommodate the starter, that's supposedly it.

Price is ~ $330 ex. taxes.

Heard of other people using some of their other adapter plates to OM617 in to Volvos with stock transmission with great results, no complains.
