I would not measure it with a meal or the number of hours of driving, within limits of course, to go to a meet. I will be driving for a long day from San Diego. It is always fun to meet up with MBZ enthusiasts. I met a lot of great guys in the last NoCal meet in 9/11. I flew up to San Jose and took my daughter and her 300D to the meet. It was a lot of fun and I met Charlie, he is an invaluable help.

The cruise to Lompoc is tomorrow morning and the weather looks good. As far as the restaurant we meet at in Lompoc, it doesn't matter to me. I will entertain any other suggestions for a lunch stop in Lompoc. I'll talk to Rich and see if we can come up with an acceptable substitute, or we can decide when we get there.
