PM myself or my brother to get a phone number. You can find out where we are at the time and rendezvous.

I am hoping my brother will post a route map soon, but as for the parking, I think wherever the first ones to arrive park, is where we will be. The parking lot where Cars and Coffee is held is for the theater. No movies are scheduled for that time of the morning, so we should have the entire parking lot to ourselves. Starbuck's is right next door, so those that need/want coffee or food can partake before we leave.

Route Map

The route map is here

Please print a map for yourself.
VERY IMPORTANT! :
The directions tell you to turn right on Lake Elizabeth Rd and then go a little way and make a u turn -DO NOT TURN RIGHT, TURN LEFT and follow the directions to the end.

Awesome cruise and car collection!

After traveling a total of over 300 miles yesterday on the trip, I have to say it was well worth every mile. The weather could not have been better, the drive was very relaxed and scenic, the car collection was most incredible (especially the stories that went along with each car) and the lunch was excellent. We were also treated to a car show (Cars & Coffee) at our meeting place. We found a nice spot at the rear of the theater to park all in a row. As it turned out, ALL the cars were Diesel! There were 13 cars on the drive. We had a couple first-timers, but mostly the usual suspects (LOL) showed up. A great time was had by all, and I am sure some photos will be posted soon. Thank you all for joining us, and especially my friend Blue for opening up his collection for us to enjoy.....Rich

It had been a long day for me but it was well worth it. It is very scenic drive up Angeles Forest, uphill all the way. If the old cars make it then it can go anywhere. There were cyclists trying damn hardiest to paddle uphill and others free wheeling downhill on the other side.

The car collections is amazing, they are all very early production models. The VW bus had been to Alaska, South America plus many other countries. Crashed, rolled over, repaired and restored. A painting to show its glory.

By the way, that Porsche in the last photo in post #28 is a very rare four seat model. The 123 wagon is right hand drive, the brown W115 is production #00007 (yes the 7th one made).
