No wonder you are so good @ building powerful cars

Enivei, I can understand that m103 is bulletproof, pistons, rods...OK, the diesel 3.0 turbo is allso bulletproof as finnish guys have shown, BUT how the hell did you get the head to flow so good? hehe...650hp is no joke is it really stock head? not even a little ported?

Yeah I ported a head just a little

Today I was at the race on the highway and the radiator hose came loose and it just explode much water but I did not want to lose the race and keep driving at 1,5 bar and 8000RPM with no water in the engine.
And the engine is stil very fine. The M103 rules!

Next target to brake 700Hp limit with stock m103!

Are there also Swedes who DONT run giant turbo's, and triple there output????

Serious question: what kind of steel did you use for you exhaust manifold? Normal steel? And the bends?
TIG welded I suppose?

And the steel plate which is bolted to the engine: sawing, drilling, milling, or laser cut?

Any info concerning building a custom manifold is welcome!

Curious to not only know how you get 8000 RPM out of the M103 valve train, but more importantly why ?????

Your dyno print out shows peak power at 6000 RPM, so your power just drops off after that point....

Defeats the main purpose of keeping RPM's in the optimum power band.

Am I missing something ?????

The aswer is very simple: I just love high RPM m103 sound

You have right I peak power at 6000RPM but I will try another camshaft or bigger turbin house to move the curve a little beat higher becaurse I get better driving at streetrace when I get 8000rpm and put the next gear then I am getting high rpm at the next gear allready. My rev limit at 8000 and at 7500rpm my ingintion going down about 12 degrees

Another thing that I had old broken ingition plugg cables at the dyno and got some ignition missing over 6000rpm.

Today I put a new racing cables and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Here comes those blue cables

Obvious you are having transmission problems.
Why not consider the tried and true two speed automatic Chevy Powerglide....
With your skills you should be able to adapt it and modified it can handle your power.
It's ideal in high horsepower/torque applications as it gives the ability to be extremely consistent in competitive situations.

Nah.Not really.No.

See..we found out that if a big ass turbo makes a car haul, one even bigger is most likely better yet. For real.

I must say that 1,9 bar at 8000rpm with 4th gear feels real nice!
Pic after race

You used to be known from ABBA....

Anyway: who has some info concerning building a custom exhaust manifold? Just regular steel?
