The last time you rode your snowmobile you posted that you could hardly move the next day.

Get the Alleve ready.

This time I kept both skis firmly pressed into the snow and didn't have to try to deadlift 625 lbs.

Nice! I really miss sledding. I hope to pick up two in a couple of years when my finances are a bit better and start getting my kids into it. Being on the trail with fresh powder or while it's snowing is hard to beat!

Lost in all of the post-Holiday malaise, is that it's Hump Day already. Happy Humping and Happy Kwanzaa!

I dig 3 day work weeks

Wow wee! I had a GREAT hump day yesterday! Didn't do too much work, just fixed some things around the house and generally had one of the best days I've had in recent memory.

Can't believe tomorrow is already "Another Fine Friday" already.

Still trying to collect from a BMW dealer (Motorwerks BMW of Bloomington, MN!!!) and a wholesaler. $ amount would easily cover 1.5 weeks of payroll.

Barely going to make payroll tomorrow. We bust out arse's to get cars done on time and they can't pay...

That sounds about like our municipality customers. We better make damn sure our trucks are there for their delivery appointment but NET 30 Days means we can hope for 90, because that's when they decide that they'll pay. Too large to ignore, especially when they have to use up money in their budgets at year end. OTOH sometimes we wonder if it's worth it. Which is part of the reason our bid prices are so high, if we get the contract the higher price almost justifies the grief and aggravation. Almost.

There is alot of that going around these days, NET 30 should be a road sign not a contractual obligation.

It's the norm in my business. The wholesaler is obviously short on cash (he hasn't paid other vendors either), but the BMW dealership is disorganized.

They've paid me on a few cars, but skipped others. Invoices go back to September. I dropped off the late invoices to acct's payable 2 weeks ago, nothing. Dropped by again yesterday and spoke with the woman in charge. Told me she'd call me back by 1pm -- again nothing...

I'm outta here. Time to bust some heads.

It's but a mere suggestion.

It's ironic that my debtors aren't nearly as permittive of my disregard for payment schedules...
