Work is the same as it has been the past month, crazy. My boss who's been out with his knee replacement got a hernia over the weekend and now needs surgery on that. So it'll probably be another 2-3 weeks before I get any reinforcement. Makes the days fly by, though!

5yoS has practice again tonight. I was really looking forward to it again but he along w/son #3 and daughter have been hacking, not sleeping and snot infected for 3 days now. I'm not sure he'd make it through practice. He was only semi-interested last week, he got to hit off the tee and practice throwing but he was more interested in running around with some of the other players' siblings there.

I had a great time working with an older kid with Down syndrome, I'm guessing he was early teens (my son is definitely the youngest, the oldest kid is probably 14-15), with throwing and catching. He was playing catch with his brother who took off with my oldest to got pitch and hit on a different field. Between my kids and coaching my oldest son's Little League team last year it was the first time I've had a kid listen to me. It's great to watch the kids have such a great time and really helps put life back into perspective. My son Garrett got our priorities straight 5+ years ago, but every now and then a refresher is in order. And appreciated.
i will be shortly.

that would be cool.. I can't wait until she shows signs of an upcoming moult, but that wont be for some time since she molted before I got her as a gift.

You could get her a boy friend and start breeding them, Don. That might be interesting to see. Tarantulas don't eat their mates after they become pregnant (or whatever it's called for spiders), do they?

yea, when she is of breeding size.

No, they do not do that. But the males have specialized arm things that hold the female's fangs away from them so they can deposit the sperm into her. My friend is going to attempt to breed and get an egg sac from one of her female T.Blondi's.

Humping away, and not the good kind (although I guess that depends on how you look at it). The sun is out and we're s'posed to get into the 80's. I've got the urge to go topless!

T has baseball practice at 4:00 and G has a game at 5:00. Hopefully come about 6:45 I can slow down, catch my breath and enjoy a cold adult beverage while watching the sunset and listening to the Sox on the radio. Ahhhhh...

Good luck!

Bummer on the spider chick, too. I meant to post on that thread when I got the time but hadn't. Sorry to hear that things didn't work out.

Don't laugh, harvesting organs in South America is big bucks.
