No roots overhead...
Sunshine is though...
Right side of the grass for me today...

I'll be waiting for the parts delivery from noon to 1400 ... stuff should have been here back on Monday...no harm though...tower crew is not due back in town 'til tomorrow night...then Friday...hanging hardware, conduit and transmission line...maybe I'll have the tower topped off by Wednesday or Thursday next week...

Then...

We'll have to wait for the antenna to arrive from Maine...

That's scheduled for the first week of September...

It only took me 2 days to go through the crap that built up on my desk last week so it's not too shabby.

My wife has been working on stuff for the CT Down Syndrome Congress rallies at the CT openings of Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder flick, she and the kids are meeting up at one in Middletown today that I hope to meet up with them at. While I agree that we've gotten too PC, I don't see the difference between between "retard" and the other racial and religious slurs that are seen as taboo. One of the lines from the movie, "Never go full retard" has already shown up on t-shirts. I guaran-damn-tee that you'd never see any of the other can't-say words on a promotional t-shirt or poster. It's too late to do anything about the movie but at least we can get the word out that use of the it, especially in schools where the merchandise will appear, is denigrating and unacceptable.

Make fun of me all you want, but if you F with my family or kids all bets are off.

This Wednesday is definitely better than LAST Wednesday. The new speakers for the Dee8gonator just came. Woohoo! I gues I'll have to go get some jumper cables long enough to reach the battery so I can get it started. Still working on the leather seats with the Leatherique. Things are moving along once again.

Good luck, Carleton. Don't let them yank your crank . . . .

. . . . . or leave you in the clutch.
