hate to break it to you, but 95% of all teenagers fall into the category of being mentally unstable. should we lock them all up? or should we attempt to guide them onward and upward towards a higher path? the system leans towards the "lock 'em up and throw away the key" attitude. only problem with that is when they are in Juvy they learn how to do more bad things from other bad kids. then they come out and run the streets practicing what they learned while in lock up.

for the record, I am not saying they should not be disciplined by their parents. on the contrary, if dad whipped out the "board of education" more often, we wouldn't see the kids at the court house.

the system is working.
