It's the wife's birthday. She demands fireworks, so we will go to a local park and be surrounded by screaming urchins running hither and yon, and by bubbas wearing flag t shirts and their fat wimmin' and undoubtedly subjected to speeches by tea party wannabes while paying too much for bad beer and hotdogs that have been boiled beyond recognition.
