Thanks, as far as the DIY/EFI guys there are two different factions. McMEgaSqirt and the guys using GM junkyard stuff--and neither can understand why the other likes his best, I know one reason ---GM computers are the best there are, and a $75 setup in the hands of someone who knows what to do with it is much more versitle than a $750.00 mc squirt. If someone waned to run forced induction-its easily doable now that a computer is controlling knock-rather than old days carb setups. that intake looks like it could have been modified by Tull industries in san antonio Tx
The official gm turbo computer is a 7749 Sunbird, Syclone ecm--and theres a more advanced custom writen -code 59 done by some technically inclined syclone guys. a 749 is very hard to find and a user can much more easily get the 730 and run code 59 on it or even a military spec "hardened 727" corvette ecm that can live under the hood of a hotrod.
Theres a 88 sunbird at the copart auction for junk price in Madison Wi right now. I just scored one when I spotted a sunbird sold at the copart in new braunfuls Tx, I had to weasel the info from a copart gal and then go to the yard in SA TX where it was sent.
