He might have a couple of semesters at Oral Roberts under his belt. Otherwise it must have been ITT Tech or something. No critical thinking whatsoever.

I believe most of his education comes from hoax emails.

I don't remember the last time I ran across anyone so intolerant and ill informed.

OK, that was really funny due to the inclusion of a large 'kernel of truthiness' ...

I'm not sure what kind of trap you're trying to set here, but yes I did indeed take advantage of the GI Bill. How about yourself? I expect that from previous writings you know the answer, so that's even more of a tip that you are setting a trap, so go ahead and spring it if you have guts enough to tell me about YOUR education.

Larry, you are the most intolerant person I have seen in decades.... going to a normal college usually exposes people to enough other people with differing but equally legit opinions so that one comes out at least a little accepting of other people's rights to act and believe the way they want to... as long as they are not trespassing on other's rights....
So it was actually a straight forward honest question... did you go to a regular college...if you went... or to one like was suggested...that was only a self confirming institution like Oral Roberts ? Did you take the first two years of varied courses designed to promote well rounded individuals ? We suspect that you did not of course... so if you did.... then we will be starting a petition to take back your degree if you got one... or require remedial study so their reputation is not further sullied...

So now Obama is going to do what he said he was going to do and the right wing calls this a lack of leadership?
Several times during my working life (I am now retired) I was told by management 'Do this or we will have to do this'. There were no games to be played or counteroffers; I knew that if I could not do what was needed they would have to take steps to see that it was done because what we had to do was important. We, meaning everyone involved, looked upon this as I was the nearest the problem so I was likely the best person to deal with it. If I could not they would and they would not be able to do as good a job as I could. Everyone knew this and there was no reason to pretend otherwise. By the way, this was a job with a major oil company and the dollar amounts usually ran into the tens of millions, so the management was just doing what the President did with the SC. Mainly: Delegating the work out. So the SC did not do their job. Well, now the President will have to do his. Everyone agreed on this to begin with, so why all the shock and wonderment? |

I see that the tread has drifted into the sea of personality examinations, and I admit to some guilt.

By the way.....
The biggest deal I ever worked at the oil company saved us, over five years, $100,375,000. Another deal I worked out landed us a $50,000,000 a year contract. If the SC is looking for some outside help..... Sorry. I'm retired. |
