Although it was actually a means to not answer the question by Larry... I will answer it... while back from RVN at Ft. Wolters, Tx I got 30 hours at Weatherford Jr. college.... then transferred to SWT ( now Texas State as San Marcos ) then transferred to UT Austin.
I was a Sociology major with minor in Psychology. I also got my permanent Texas Peace Officer certification in 1980... I think a good way to use my college major...and straddle the liberal/ conservative line..

So it was actually a straight forward honest question... did you go to a regular college...if you went... or to one like was suggested...that was only a self confirming institution like Oral Roberts ?
Did you take the first two years of varied courses designed to promote well rounded individuals ?
We suspect that you did not of course... so if you did.... then we will be starting a petition to take back your degree if you got one... or require remedial study so their reputation is not further sullied...

So you don't have enough guts to tell me YOUR educational background?

Yes I have a college degree and it's not from a so called Church School. Unlike many people who had the wherewithall to go to school full time and hang around the campus with all the hair heads, I had the GI Bill, plus I had to work while going to school.

Unlike many of you I have an ethic that kept me from swallowing all the liberal baloney put forth by the academic pinheads. It might come as a surprise to you that not ALL college students are gullible ideologues.

So, I've answered your nosy question. What's your excuse for being a liberal?

Larry, say where you went to college... IF YOU DID ....

and as to elitist.... not so... I know plenty of smart successful people who did not go to college..

The subject here is YOUR INCREDIBLE LACK OF TOLERANCE .... and it is legit to see if we can figure out where in your training or background that started.

What I think is my own business, you might be surprised at my level of intelligence. Many people over the years have called me a savant. I just play the fool here because it makes me laugh. Also I don't like politics. BTW did you ever look in the mirror?

And Larry, just for the record... some of these people are using sarcasm which totally goes over your head... thus making you look really foolish when you take it for agreeing with you... just a heads up... but potentially more indication your intellectual training in the past was lacking...

My parents taught my sister and I how to think critically from when we were little kids, being roped in by toy and cereal commercials. Learning more in college was icing on the cake. I'm sure that's why I've been a lifelong athiest, unintended consequences of my early training.

We must be on to something in terms of his lack of tolerance ... or he would have told us where he went... unless he is fudging on actually having gone...

A travel show on PBS closes with a quote from Mark Twain.
" Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."

So is a legit college experience....
thus the question as to how Larry got to his age with his Intolerance so dominant a personality trait....
