The day my dodge got hit the neighbors came out. The mrs is a Japanese born person Living here in the US only about ten years. both of them are into collectibles extensively. I asked them to look at my bowl. The Mrs. said it was a well respected brand name and the bowl was fairly old, being made in Okinawa before it was called Okinawa. She said it was worth maybe 3 to $500 in Japan but maybe less here. Mr. offered me $100 for it on the spot. I refused.

So, they invited us over for a Christmas celebration party a week or two ago. I wrapped up the bowl and gave it to them as a christmas present.

They seemed delighted.
