You need to go back and read the recent posts in sequence. You're jumping onto the wrong person. I did not comment on the Muslim dress. That was someone else. The post you quoted is my comment about someones rebuttal showing Menonites dressed in something older than the current fashion.

I think you've been offered the chance to conform to that culture.

I do find it rather interesting that I made a polemic statement on purpose, and the only thing you've responded to was the manner of dress. So I guess I was spot on by declaring that Islam was 6th century Arab culture.

Actually I live in a rural area where there are quite a number of Menonites, and I see ladies young and old dressed like that quite frequently. They are very impressive ladies, showing respect for themselves and their fellow Menonites. There are good and bad in all groups of people, but generally speaking, the Menonites and their community are VERY impressive. Of course, I get the idea that many guys on this forum would rather be with some bar hag than with a decent lady.

Do think that they are stuck in dark ages where you sell your soul to some boogeyman to wars off another.

Seen enough of the religious converts. In fact I talk to two of them regularly. As I have said before, my parents are old and their mental health isn't the greatest which explains their nosedive into religious or superstitious beliefs.

If the choice is between a bar hag or a religious devotee, the bar hag is going to be less irritating in the long run.

Over generalizing there a little bit are ya'? Are all religious people the same? Are all Christians the same?

My point is that Islam is a 6th century, nomadic foundation, male dominated religion.

If you want to pretend to be a 6th century Arabic nomad, join Islam. They'll let you dress that way, speak that way, judge others that way, poop that way, etc.

What would be more genuine would be to admit that the christians can no longer conduct themselves like they did in the 11th 13th 16-17th centuries, or all the inquesitions in western europe from about 1490--thru around 1875.
So now that they really cant steal anymore land or gold or silver or enslave anyone---Hey they can forget all that stuff and put a nice face on it.

Not really. All if them share in a superstition belief. All of them need a crutch.

When that fetus, AKA piece of tissue passes the same standard used to determine if a patient is dead or alive, we can talk about it being murder. As to drug use, I've seen both religious and non religious do or not do them. Neither the wife or I are superstitious but we don't do drugs. As to sex, seen it in all groups.
