If he thinks the outcome of his sale will change any minds, that's another matter and he might be witnessing to the wrong crowd.

Does God care about all auctions or just specific ones? I'm thinking about the millions of Ebay auctions that occur every day. Does God monitor each one or only the ones above a specific $$ amount?

Interesting read. I've attended an auction or two when I wasn't bidding on the sale items. I've been to one where I was bidding on the single item up for sale, a house down the street from me. The one with the single item for sale went a bit slower, I'm guessing because the auctioneer only had one item to sell. I got outbid by about four grand. The new owners seem to be getting good use out of the place.

God recently gave me a second chance to buy an item on eBay after I was beaten out by a higher bidder who subsequently wussied out. Praise the Lord!

In the same token I don't understand why God would want to help CLK get more than what he owes for the building. I asked some pretty simple questions regarding to the value of the building which he has yet to answer.

The only issue I have with his post is that it exists. I have no problem with the actions he's taking, but posting of it on a board like this is only sure to cause problems.

Obviously thats the worst advice ever! No good can ever come of it! He will certainly go to hell for being self sufficient, self reliant, and trying to act in accordance to his beliefs in god. Good thing you are here to correct him on this vital issue! The man is doomed otherwise.

The Bible is clear that God helps those who cannot help themselves, it is the Gospel itself.

Modern American Evangelicalism has lost touch with what the Bible actually says. I have no problem in calling it to task.

There is no consistent record of the deity's gender. In various texts both masculine and feminine are found.
