As well as being ridiculous- an armed person rarely voluntarily gets into a physical confrontation- why would they when they have a gun? Duh....

Can't comment exactly on the above.
But, it is a real problem when the Law does not put some specific definition or give some examples of what incidents might be considered life threatening; leaving it up to the Court or the Jury to decide on that.

We don't know if He thought the Person Following Him was a threat to Him or not.

It could very well be that T thought His body or life was going to be threatened.
