I beg to differ. Those were the parts which the Zim's defense team saw as the most important, and those are the parts which got him exonerated, but for many... those were not the important aspects of this case.

As a point of law. The other stuff was not germane. Otherwise the defense could have asked to include M's background, emails and toxicology.

Actually he was found to be found not guilty of criminal activity because of reasonable doubt, just a tad different than being judged innocent.

But otherwise, yes.

Everything else besides TM's death and GZ firing the shot is conjecture based on the limited testimony. Except maybe the prosecutors being near incompetent.

I talked with one of my judge friends at lunch today about the trial. He did not have a lot to say about it. I asked him about the all white jury. He said it was the jury the lawyers and prosecutors chose.
