There are indeed some things that seem best to have a strong commitment not to indulge in. I'm not saying you guys can't enjoy your drugs. If you choose to put your family and yourself through hell or even if you want to kill yourself, go for it. For me though, I'm quite content with my clean living. Enjoy. |

A pantheon of villians?
Quote:
How did you identify them? They tested dirty or something? What about the juicers on this forum? Do they get a free pass? If not who are they and how did you spot them. Not picking on you but this seems to be a somewhat hyperbolic blanket condemnation and simplistic vilification.

You are so vehement in your loathing of drug use and users, and yet when a thread is started which highlights a country's effective methodology of combating the problem, you cannot even deign to read the article and see the remarkable benefits that the country has experienced. By removing the criminal aspect of use, and treating the user rather than incarcerating the user (generally speaking treatment is cheaper than incarceration as well, so that should appeal to your fiscal conservative nature) Portugal has helped reduce the number of addicts in their country. How can you possibly spin that into a bad thing? Is not the goal, (and your preferred reality) that there would be no drug addicts, or at least fewer?? I am completely baffled by your take on this subject. All I can figure is that you would rather punish people than help them, which does not seem to be a very Christian way of living.... and that is also contrary to your presented persona.... ![]()

He just likes to troll, I find it amazing that he is allowed back half a million times but Brian steps one foot in the wrong and gets his head chopped off for good.

Here's a suggestion for you. Since my opinion is so opposed to yours that you consider me a troll, click on the triangle and report whatever serious violation that I have committed. You owe it to everyone, since I'm such a conservative, you should do your part to keep my opinions away.

Let's start from the simple: Do you own your own body? If your answer is in the affirmative then it is yours to treat and dispose of as you wish. If the gov owns your body then the gov gets to tell you how to use it. Take abortion, for example. If a woman owns her body then the gov has no business in her uterus. If the gov owns her body then the gov has a stake in how she uses her uterus. If the gov owns your body then the gov can (and should) have an interest in your medical condition -- the sole justification for socialized medicine. If you cede ownership responsibility of your body to the government or anybody else then you are in essence, their slave. It's not your body, it's theirs. |

In the past criminal organizations were involved with numbers games, drugs, alcohol and protection rackets. They still are but they call themselves something a little different.

Larry is amazing. I've never encountered anyone who manages to adhere so closely to the creed that morality and critical thought are diametrically opposed.

I find it quite interesting that voicing my opinion is considered by some to be trolling.
I'm sure if my opinion was not opposed to that of those accusing me of trolling, they would not be making such accusations. Quite pathetic. I suppose that I could stop the trolling accusation by just lying down and agreeing with whatever is presented. Sorry, but I'm not a "yes man." Another interesting point is some of the people on here that seem to present themselves as open minded. Yeah, they're open minded to any opinion that agrees with their own. Again, pathetic. |
