Didn't realize they had interwebs out there on that Nevada highway....

Curious why you think the state of Nevada has any interest in protecting a scofflaw who is misusing public lands...??
Are you suggesting that the Nevada lawmakers also haven't read their state Constitution?

Got it.
The other take away from some of the folks here . . . You have permission to "fight the power," so long as you fit a certain image and profile.

I think you are exaggerating the situation.
The rangers went in to collect the offending cattle, and were confronted by hostile and armed individuals.
Really not sure what you think the government was supposed to do...
Just allow this freeloader to thumb his nose at numerous court orders?
Overall, it seems as if the .gov has been pretty lenient with this guy.
Up to and including the release of the cattle and the withdrawal of their personnel.
Personally, I think they need to scoop this db up and toss him in the can until he has the cattle removed and the fees and fines paid.

Anyone else having fun watching who wants law enforcement some of the time, against some of the people . . . or that court orders can/should be disobeyed? Contempt citation? That depends on whether you're a rancher or a witness before Congress . . .

Right, it was never about the years of notices, negotiations, court hearings, rulings . . .

Who . . . I believe it was a federal court judge's ruling on a motion for summary judgement in a court of proper jurisdiction, where Mr. Bundy submitted his position in writing. Who do you say has the right to decide the issue?

Those lands no more belong to the state of Nevada than they do to the Paiute or Shoshone...

I see snopes makes no mention of items previously posted on the BLM website which have now been removed and were captured in a screenshot by Free Republic....maybe you should contact Snopes for posting BS.

What else you got old Buddy?

Is Sen. Harry Reid Behind the BLM Land Grab of the Bundy Ranch?
