They are from the 124 MB CD set
From the Engine Manual // Combustion Manual // 07.3 Mechanical/electronic gasoline injection system (KE injection) // 0121 Testing electrical components of KE injection system...

0121 Testing electrical components of KE injection system covers 107's-124's-126's & 201's. (only difference -component location and a few notes)

The posting requires some cut and paste stuff that I just figured out.
If I have time I will try to put the whole thing into postable pictures and make a thread out of it ...but this will probably take me some time to get together...Worth it in the end though as this is a, most useful section of the CD.

Thanks, I or anyone else should be able to download that from:

http://mb.braingears.com

The 103 engine manual is incomplete, so I'll go through the 124 CD CIS-E info and pickup what I'm missing.

So far I've found nothing on transmissions or clutch - even the R&I procedures - in either the W201 manual images or the 124 or 126 CDs.

Marty,

Looking at the top of those pages.... what years does that cover? I cannot read it clearly and don't remember seeing it on my 86'.

Hum.... got to go look tomorrow. Maybe code clearing could be on the weekend ticket. I thought, that you could measure the EHA amperage and set it to zero- that would be center of the O2 sensor range as well.

I believe '88 California models was the first appearance of X92 connector with LED and codes.

As Duke says, MY 88 is the begining of pulse reading for Califrrnia cars only. (Covered by the first 5 sheets in post #13)

Production date 4/86 is the begining of % readind at X11. (Covered by the next 5 sheets in post #14) Check the info panel at the drivers door for your production date.

Do '88 CA models also have fault diagnosis via on-off ratio at X11, or does X92 with flashing LED replace the older method?

The pulse reading seems to paralell the on off ratio.
I do not have experience with California cars, but the Instructions seem to indicate that after all codes have been cleared on off ratio can be read.
