Blower motor - Euro type 124
Hi
Anyone familiar with the manual twin rotary knob 4 speed type blower motor arrangement? Mine seems to be very slow on 1 and sometimes does not start when left on 1. I read the archives but I don't think I have a electronic regulator but a resistor pack like my older 123. Can anyone enlighten please before I dig in blindly. Thanks

Controller is located underneath glove box
Best way to get at it is to remove glovebox. You can see controller below glovebox opening. Remove, disconnect cables and disassemble. You may see bad solder connections. Resoler or take to friend or local TV shop to have resoldered.
Your problem sounds like old blower motor syndrom. Best to replace or remove clean and lube. I cleaned mine but still bearings are dry and no way to take apart and re-oil. It works better but still not like new and will have to replace eventually. Good luck Anthony Bridges |

Hi Anthony
Thanks for the advice. I sort of suspect a weak motor as well. Apart what you've said I will also have a look at the rotary swtich being dirty. Regards Oreo
