Recently someone tried to steal my car. In the process, they did quite a bit of damage.

1. Has anyone replaced their ignition switch and steering wheel lock ? The transmission cable seems to be fine, but the rest of the assembly is beat up pretty badly. One good thing. The key will go in and turn the lock slightly but not enough to to unlock the transmission.

I also could use some help on the wiring layout. They pulled every wire off the switch

2. There is an electronic box under the dash on the left side of the steering column. It has a large black knob on it and it turns about 300 degrees from the ("I" on) to ("O" off). I have no idea what this is. Any help?
