I have never used it on a diesel. I would be very cautious about introducing any liquid into a diesel intake. Just a little ether has been known to bend a rod. There just isn't room for anything on top of a diesel piston.
We have used Redline diesel catalyst for years with good results. It goes into the tank and is not a typical combustion enhancer. Its job is to catalytically burn off the carbon deposits. Techron is also used to burn carbon in diesels.
