Steering Wheel Changeout

Fellow members:

Any implications/issues with changing out an airbag steering wheel for a "non-bag" model? I'd like to get a nice Momo wheel (non-bag) to replace my stock "bagged" wheel. Momo being a class supplier, I would imagine has a hub kit for just about any application -- correct? Is this a DIY, or take it to my mechanic? I've read that anytime you dink with an airbag it can be dangerous if you DON'T know what you're doing.

Thanks in advance for any/all advice!
