suspension noise S320

S320 - 1995 - 75,000K The car has a creaking or slight grinding noise comming from front suspension usually when going under 30 mph. The dealer replaced the front stabilizer links and indicated that it solved the problem. However, I picked the car up after hours and it made the noise as soon as I rolled out of his lot. At home, I removed the wheels and inspected the front axle control arm bushings, the upper and lower ball joints and the struts and visually everything looks ok. Does anyone have any thoughts about what is causing the noise or how I can diagnose the problem. I can get it to creak if while stopped I slowly turn the steering wheel, however if the car is moving, the steering will not cause the noise. Anyway, the noise sounds awfull especially for such a nice car. Any thoughts?

Steering noice

Have you checked your power steering fluid?

I just recently replaced the upper control arms, lower ball jts, tie-rods, drag link, stab' link, shocks, sway bar bushings, brakes, and dampner. ...basically pretty much every wear item.... and I can't think of anything under there mechanically that would cause this provided a visual inspection shows that all is well.

Is there any "clunk" when driving?

I have not checked that, but I will. Although a funny thing, I drove it all last weekend and it made so much noise I doubted whether or not it should even be driven until it was repaired. So, Monday morning I drove it to the dealer and it was like it fixed itself overnight. It would not make the noise. So dealer said whatever it was must have worked itself out. Drove it all week and no noise. So I guess I will just drive it and wait for it to come back.
