I recently replaced the thermostat and have noticed a leak in that area. I believe it is the hose that is about 1 and 1/2 inch long beneath the thermostat housing. I am wondering how I get to this hose to replace it. Do I need the remove the thermostat and the engine side housing to get to the hose?

Just so I have the appropriate equipment for the replacement. What size is this piece of hose?
