When you say something you shouldnt on PP one of the moderators will send you a little pm telling you that you have done wrong. Normally you get a warning or 2 & then then an infraction. They show in the top RH corner of your post. Go up to post #3 (infraction) or post #7 for warning & infractions.
I may have to drop the entry age a little if/when it gets up & running.

Can I get a junior membership? Do we get hats or tee shirts? At sixty eight with no infractions do I loose eligiability? how long must I wait otherwise?

I still internalise any intollerance I may have as best I can. Trying to always remember that I was younger once. Certainly in some cases I was never that young. It all becomes water under the bridge in short order.

To temper any feelings of mixing it up there becomes a requirement at self justification. I still try to avoid geting into that corner. Yet I fully understand some of the older younger guys and where they are coming from.

You always will get into it if you think you are right. The older I get the less certain I am in some ways. My perspectives on a given issue would or could get the kettle boiling if I expoused them in a certain fashion..

This site in general is amoungst the most civilized on the net. I would only lash out in hopefully a productive manner to protect it. Other than that the occassional member may be having a bad day and will bounce back in a day or two usually. Simply put I just do not try to pull anyones tail or hit back. If they do not feel comforatable with me I can accept that.

Even doing all this I do not expect people to understand me. Or perhaps by doing so it makes it hard to understand me. I do not wish to be an enigma either.

Actually I see no reason or need for a grumpy old guy network yet at least in reality. I know it is just a tounge and cheek thing anyways. A few isolated occurences do not justify it. That is just human nature. By the same token I feel that what another person is feeling and experiencing is important to them.

I got all offended with my first infraction, but who really cares now......
My only fun was baiting an annoying member until they finally got themselves 90 days of timeout. They just couldn't lay off that high fastball!
There are days I like this poster, and days he shows his arse. Bipolar or a late night drinker I guess.
I'm inching right up against the big 50 but being on the lower side of that has little to do with my annoyance factor.
